Happy Holidays!

I am so excited the holidays are upon us. I love this time of year!! One local radio station is already playing Christmas songs. I heard them for the first time on the way to work last Friday. I was thrilled, then all of the sudden I started thinking about the wonderful Christmas we had last year. I had no idea it would be the last one with my grandfather. I cried all the way to work. I haven't been able to listen to a Christmas song since. However, I know that will pass. I have a 3 year old and he loves Christmas as much as I do.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you go shopping on Friday think of me. My birthday is next Monday so I always celebrate by getting up early the Friday after Thanksgiving and hitting the stores. The weather starts getting cooler here in Florida so it is a great time to shop for clothes when everything is on sale.

I am having minor surgery this morning so I won't be getting together with family on Thanksgiving or going shopping the day after. It sounds like a bad time to have surgery, but I planned it this way so I wouldn't miss too much time from work.
