Today wasn't the shopping extravaganza that I would have loved it to be, but it wasn't so bad either. My husband took me to the mall this afternoon so I was able to get out for a while. I haven't left the house since Monday and I was going crazy. Even though I wasn't able to raise my arms high enough to do my hair, I was able to put on make up which helped boost my mood a little.
We were only gone about 2 hours, but I was more than ready to get back home. After a little rest we went to our favorite hangout, Beef O'Brady's for dinner. Much to my delight two of my high school friends walked in and we got a chance to chat for a little bit. They both live in different cities so we have kind of lost touch over the years. It was nice to be able to catch up on what we each have been doing over the last few years.
On a side note, my pain meds are kicking in so I'm starting to feel really good right now. I'm hoping to get a great nights sleep starting in about 15 minutes. LOL!!!

Thanks so much! I wanted to go shopping, but that is out. I'm too swollen. It is also nasty weather outside. :(
